Privacy Policy

The Lightdogs app and website (collectively, “Lightdogs”) help you spend less time on your smartphone, so you can do more of what really makes you happy. At Sapien Technology, our mission is to align consumer tech with human interests. Part of that mission is keeping high standards for the protection of people’s privacy and Personal Information, including yours as you use Lightdogs. “Personal Information” means information about you or information that can be used to identify or contact you, such as your name or your email address.

This Privacy Policy governs and explains our collection, use, disclosure, and retention of Personal Information through Lightdogs. It also outlines the choices you have relating to your Personal Information. By downloading and using Lightdogs, you agree to the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

When you visit the Lightdogs website, or download and sign up for the Lightdogs app, we collect certain Personal Information from you, in order to allow you to create an account and to effectively use Lightdogs. Once you have an account, you can earn “joules” by spending time unplugged from your phone. You can then use your joules to hatch, grow, and breed collectible super dogs!

The account information that you provide to us allows us to customize your interactive use of Lightdogs, to respond to e-mails from you, and to inform you of significant changes to this Privacy Policy.

We do not use Personal Information that you provide for any other purpose except to provide you with Lightdogs, and as outlined in this Policy. In addition to using your Personal Information to provide and maintain Lightdogs, we may also use it as follows:

• To notify you about changes to Lightdogs;
• To allow you to choose to participate in interactive features of Lightdogs;
• To provide customer support to you;
• To gather analysis information so that we can improve Lightdogs;
• To monitor the usage of Lightdogs;
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues.
